ASU to Host Summer STEM Boot Camp in Birmingham

Rising 8th and 9th grade students in the Birmingham area will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in STEM during a Summer STEM Boot Camp hosted by ASU.

Alabama State University will host the ASU-BCS GEAR UP Summer STEM Boot Camp in the Birmingham area in June and July.

The Summer Boot Camp gives rising 8th and 9th grade students the opportunity to connect classwork with hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to gain skills and knowledge that will prepare them for STEM careers.

Boot Camp Sessions

  • Session 1 (8th grade), June 5 – June 17
  • Session 2 (9th grade), June 19 – July 1
